Rhyming is a basic phonemic awareness skill. It requires children to listen closely for sounds within words and learn that words are made up of separate parts or phonemes. Use these hands-on Rhyming CVC Clip Cards to teach, practise and revise rhyming words.

To make the cards self correcting, place a mark or small sticker on the back of each card to highlight the correct answer before you laminate and cut them out.

HOW TO USE:

1. Students identify the large picture on the top of each card.

2. They peg their clothespin onto whichever bottom picture rhymes with the large top picture.
